Welcome to the 90th edition of the Kaizen Newsletter ⛩.
It’s been more than 3 years that I sent out my last newsletter, but I’m finally ready to get back into things. A lot has changed on my end (and I’ll try to address some points in this newsletter), so I understand if these emails don’t interest you anymore and feel free to unsubscribe. No feelings hurt, I promise :).
Now, on to the newsletter.
I still remember watching this opening for the first time and being so excited because I got to see all of my favourite characters come back, but older, cooler, stronger and with more swagger.
That’s kinda how I feel bringing this newsletter back, but minus the cool, strong and swag portion. I’m just older.
A lot has happened since sending out my 89th newsletter, so I’ll try not to bore you and just summarize the highlights in bullet points:
Still haven’t found what my passion is (but I think I’m getting closer?)
I stopped being a productivity-maxi (I just use Twitter bookmarks + drafts + Lex + chatgpt as my tools)
I still meditate, but infrequently and instead use the sauna as another form of meditation (not sure if this counts but I love it)
I moved to Boston
I’m married (yay!)
I still use Twitter as my main platform
I recently started a 30-day video challenge (Yes, I also revived my YT channel)
And probably the most important change (for you, the reader), is that my focus is almost entirely on crypto/nfts now. Which also means that most of my content will probably focus around crypto and nfts.
So what exactly will this newsletter look like? Eventually, I want to get back into writing more long-form posts, but I think for now, I’ll just keep it simple and list out projects that I’m currently learning about and what’s catching my eye.
However, I will for sure sprinkle in some self-improvement, productivity and anime content just cause it’s basically something that I “carry” with me wherever I go.

⛩️ Azuki Ep1 - The Waiting Man
Azuki finally released their first animated episode this past week on Youtube and it was great! I made a quick tweet on how special this episode thanks to the NFT aspect behind it. I also made a 10 min ramble on how my thoughts on the entire episode if you wanted to watch it.
🃏 The Colony
For those who really know me, know that I’m a huge TCG fan. This is why I’m so excited for The Colony being live on Blast mainnet. It’s a marketplace for collectors to buy and sell cards. They use a tokenized mechanism so that way it’s easier for everyone to buy/sell cards. In the meantime, the cards are stored at a storage location. I haven’t found any card that I wanted to buy yet, but I’ve been browsing every couple of days to see if there was something interesting.
📈 Fantasy Top
Another project on Blast that I JUST started looking into is Fantasy Top. It’s basically a mix of NBA Top Shot x Crypto Twitter, where you can buy cards of actual crypto influencers, build a team of 5, and you can win tournaments based on how much engagement your “team” gets throughout that period. It’s been popping off lately, so I’m wondering if I might be too late, but I just signed up and will slowly see which cards I can buy. I’d suggest checking out this tweet by Zeneca on how you play it and to follow my friend Jenn and her co-host WarDaddy for more Fantasy Top info since they’ve been killing it recently.

Spirit DAO Comics
This is technically not a mint, but more of a claim. But finally got to claim physical copies of my Spirit DAO comics!
Gen 1 Pirate
I’ve been following Dith for a while and loved what he did with GLHers. Recently, Pirates have been popping up on my for you page, so I started giving them more of my attention. Recently, they announced a collab with Azuki allowing any Azuki holder to mint a Gen 1 Pirate to start playing their game and get BOOTY points.
The game is backed by a16z so it seems like they’re pretty legit and floor price is also at 1ETH floor right now. I haven’t done much, but definitely want to learn more about this project.
Anti Social Frogs
FUCK THE CABAL was everywhere on my timeline for the past few weeks and the project finally minted. I decided to mint cause ugly art usually does well and it’s kinda funny too. But it was probably a mistake since 11K is way too much for ordinals. They cut the supply, but it’s still not minted out so I probably lost money on this (although at the time of writing, floor price is the same as mint).

Need to try this prompt in Midjourney. Tried it with Dall-E, but prevented me from doing it cause of copyrighting issues. The aesthetic is so clean.
One of my new favourite follows. Not sure why I haven’t found him earlier. Love the idea of a “writer-builder” even though I’m not building anything.
